These are replicas of Vendel Period brooches representative of post-Roman styles.  Original broches range up to 5" in length and are much heavier than later Viking Age brooches. These are approximately 2" in length and can be worn singly or in pairs as accents on modern clothing. Inset stones are semiprecious natural carnelian, garnets and lapis lazuli.
