Drifa’s Leap Digital Downloads Policy
Effective: 11/13/25
Digital products are a growing part of the handmade community, and Drifa’s Leap welcomes them as long as they are 100% artist-created and safe for buyers to download. This policy explains what is allowed, what is not allowed, and what sellers must do to keep our marketplace secure, transparent, and true to the handmade spirit.

1. What Counts as a Handmade Digital Product
On Drifa’s Leap, all digital downloads must be:
✔️ Created entirely by the seller
The file and all its contents must be the seller’s original work. Examples include:
  • Printable art
  • Hand-drawn clipart or illustrations
  • Digitally hand-designed patterns
  • Fonts, SVGs, or embroidery files drawn by the seller
  • Photography taken and edited by the seller
  • E-books or written guides created by the seller
The following are not allowed:
  • AI-generated content of any kind
  • Stock images, stock clipart, or stock vector packs the seller did not personally create
  • Canva templates or other templates unless all graphics inside are the seller’s own work
  • Resale, “PLR,” “commercial use bundles,” or mass-produced digital files
  • Imported or dropshipped digital items
  • Files created by someone else, purchased elsewhere, or modified from another creator’s design
Sellers must include a line in their About Us or each applicable listing stating that their digital products are made by them.

2. Allowed File Types
To keep our community safe, only the following file types are permitted:
  • JPG / JPEG
  • PNG
  • SVG
  • PDF
  • ZIP (containing only the approved file types above)
ZIP files must not be password-protected or encrypted.

3. Prohibited File Types
For security reasons, sellers may not upload:
  • EXE, DLL, BAT, CMD, or any executable file
  • Macro-enabled files (DOCM, XLSM, PPTM)
  • Encrypted or password-protected ZIP/RAR files
  • Files that prompt installation or system changes
  • Any file type not listed in the “Allowed File Types” section
Files that do not meet these standards will be removed.

4. File Safety, Scanning & Buyer Responsibility
To protect our community, all digital uploads on Drifa’s Leap are scanned for malware, viruses, malicious code, and mismatched file types. Any file flagged by our system will be held for manual review.
However, no digital platform can provide a 100% guarantee.
Because files are ultimately opened on a buyer’s personal device, buyers are strongly advised to:
  • Use current antivirus or anti-malware software
  • Scan all downloaded files before opening
  • Keep operating systems and browsers updated
  • Avoid disabling built-in security tools
By purchasing a digital file, the buyer acknowledges that they are responsible for maintaining device security and that Drifa’s Leap cannot be held liable for issues arising from buyer-side software, outdated antivirus protection, or external file manipulation.

5. Accuracy and Delivery
Sellers must ensure that:
  • The downloadable file matches the product description exactly.
  • The file is complete, functional, high resolution, and not corrupted.
  • No external download links (Google Drive, Dropbox, Mega, etc.) are used.
  • All digital files are delivered directly through Drifa’s Leap.
Changing the file after purchase, swapping links, or redirecting buyers off-site is strictly prohibited.

6. Proof of Creation
Because Drifa’s Leap hand-verifies all sellers, we may request:
  • Screenshots of the creation process
  • Layer files (flattened or watermarked)
  • Photos of sketches, drafts, or editing stages
  • Portfolio samples that show consistent artistic style
Sellers who cannot provide proof of authorship may have listings removed or accounts closed.

7. Copyright, Licensing & Ownership
By listing a digital product, the seller confirms:
  • They hold full copyright to the work.
  • They grant the buyer only the rights described in the listing.
  • They are not selling licensed, trademarked, or fan-art content without explicit legal permission.
  • They understand that Drifa’s Leap will remove any digital file suspected of copyright infringement.
Sellers are fully responsible for all licensing claims.

8. Refunds & Buyer Protection
Digital products are typically non-refundable, but Drifa’s Leap will take action if:
  • The file is corrupted
  • The file contains unauthorized or dangerous material
  • The product significantly differs from the description
  • The file violates this policy
Buyers who encounter a problem should contact support@drifasleap.com immediately.

9. Enforcement
Drifa’s Leap reserves the right to:
  • Disable or delete digital listings that violate this policy
  • Request additional proof of creation
  • Suspend or remove sellers who repeatedly break digital product rules
  • Report illegal content to the appropriate authorities
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for AI content, stolen designs, or harmful files.

10. Keeping Our Community Safe
Digital downloads are an extension of handmade artistry. By following this policy, we ensure that:
  • Buyers can download confidently
  • Sellers protect their original work
  • Drifa’s Leap remains a curated, trustworthy marketplace for real creators
Thank you for helping us keep digital art truly handmade and entirely safe.
