Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order. I accept the payment methods supported by Drifa’s Leap. No layaway or partial payment options at this time.

Processing and Shipping

Listed pieces are ready to ship within 3 to 5 business days of payment.

Custom and commissioned work has a build time quoted at the time of order. Build times depend on the project. A simple knife might take 2 to 4 weeks. A pattern-welded seax or sword can take several months. I’d rather give you an honest timeline than a fast one.

All domestic shipping is through USPS with tracking and insurance included.

International shipping is available through USPS. International buyers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import taxes. I am not responsible for delays, seizures, or restrictions due to local laws. Know your country’s knife import laws before purchasing.

Returns and Exchanges

All sales are final.

Each piece is hand-forged and one of a kind. Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

If your order arrives damaged in shipping, contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos. I will work with you to make it right.

Custom and Commission Work

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start a commission. The remaining balance is due before shipping.

I will provide updates and progress photos throughout the build.

If you change your mind after work has started, the deposit is forfeited. Materials and labor already invested cannot be refunded.

I reserve the right to decline any commission that falls outside my skill set, conflicts with my values, or asks me to misrepresent a piece as something it isn’t.

Materials and Documentation

I list the steel, handle materials, and dimensions for every piece. If a piece is inspired by a historical artifact, I’ll say so. If it’s a documented reproduction with archaeological sources, I’ll cite them.

I will never claim a piece is something it isn’t.

Use and Care

These are hand-forged tools and weapons. Treat them as such.

Carbon steel will rust without care. Wipe blades down after use. Oil regularly. Store in a dry environment.

I am not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modification.

Legal

Buyers are responsible for knowing and following all local, state, federal, and international laws regarding the purchase, ownership, and shipment of bladed tools.

By placing an order, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to purchase such items.
