Today's Listing is a CUSTOM-MADE Jinbei play or birthday set, or really, anytime set.  As this item is CUSTOM-MADE to your specifications, please allow 2-3 weeks for completion.  This set consists of a cotton jinbei style top, with a hand-knit pair of pants, shorts or skooter of your choice.  While the traditional Jinbei is closed with ties, mine are closed with snaps for ease of use.  Please include a note of what type of character or fabric you would like your jinbei made from.

What is a Jinbei, you ask? 
A jinbei set is a traditional Japanese two-piece loungewear set, typically worn in summer by men, women, and children. It consists of a light, breathable, side-tying kimono-style top with short sleeves and matching shorts. Made from cotton or linen (often with woven "nep" textures), it is designed for comfort, ventilation, and relaxation at home.
