These earrings were based on one of my favorite extant ancient earring styles, British Museum 1867,0508.463, dated to the 2nd-3rd centuries CE. These reproductions were made using glass beads and bronze wire, and measure just a smidge longer than the originals, at about 2 1/2 inches long.

The metal is untreated and will a develop a patina with age and wear, and may react with some people and environments.
