This is a new, handcrafted Wampum Belt made of Glass wampum beads in cobalt & white.  Each bead is individually woven onto deerskin leather lacing using sturdy cotton-blend thread.  Wampum belts were traditionally used by Native people of the eastern U.S. & Canada to commemorate treaties and record messages.  This belt represents the artist's depiction of the Teton Mountains.  Approx measurements of beadwork panel are 9.5" x 4".  Truly one-of-a-kind!
