I don't use any stencils nor patterns for my pottery. This mug was thrown on my potter's wheel and then carved by hand as an original design. It's all done freehand. This mug design was inspired by the Celtic knotwork from the "Book of Kells".

The mug itself is made of stoneware clay, is 4 inches tall and holds a good 10 oz. of cold or hot liquid. The handle is large, sturdy, and gives a friendly, well balanced feel when held in the hand.
