Hand beaded earrings made by Kilikina.
The Heyokah is a contrary clown who holds total wisdom and teaches the People through laughter and opposites. This Sacred Trickster is one who makes you wonder if what they are saying, or doing is actually correct, thereby they make you think and figure it out for yourself. This Divine Trickster is called Heyokah by the Plains Tribes and Koshari by the Hopi and Pueblo Indians. Many Tribes have Trickster Teachers who dress in costume for Ceremony and wear regular clothing in daily life.
These beaded earrings are made of Delica seed beads, making them super lightweight for their size. They measure about 1 3/4" wide and about 4 1/2" long (not including the hooks). The beadwork is hand sewn. These earrings are currently on surgical steel fishhooks, (please note that the hook style may vary or possibly change, due to product availability). The fishhooks can be changed to posts or clips if requested. Buyer must request the change by message when the item is purchased, as for I need to make any changes before packing and shipment. I have been beading for almost 40 years. Each and every item that I make, is made with my love of beading and the hopes that every person who wears my beaded jewelry, will love and enjoy wearing them for many years to come.
All of my jewelry is made in my smoke free beading studio.
Please note that bead colors may vary. This is due to many reasons such as device screen color differences, dye lot variances, supplier, etc.
Thanks for stopping by my shop!
